I’m sorry for the lapse, dear readers. I’m well aware that I’m still posting photos from our road trip in New Zealand 2 months ago, but work has been keeping me busy. Do you have the same problem? Looking at these photos really takes me back, though, and reaffirms my dream to one day be able to travel full-time with V. Life’s too short to be spent within the office walls, wishing you were somewhere else.
The morning after we arrived in Te Anau, we drove to Milford Sound. The drive from Te Anau to Milford Sound takes two and a half memorable hours, passing through lush farmland, scenic valleys, alpine ridges, thick forests, lakes, mountain scenes, rocky canyons, and waterfalls, you name it. People who have experienced it consider it one of the most spectacular drive in the world. I wholeheartedly concur.
