To a girl born and bred in the city like me, coming across a sea of green in the form of a paddy field is an exhilarating experience, so when we stopped at Bebek Sawah Indah for lunch, and the place had this in their backyard (not a surprise since their name translates to “Duck of the Beautiful Paddy Field”), we had to act like the city folks we are, gaping in awe first, followed by merry exploring, never mind that we looked out of place.
If you ever find yourself in Bali and craving a good crispy duck, stop by Bebek Tepi Sawah (“Duck by the Paddy Field”) or Bebek Sawah Indah. You’ll be in for a view and a delicious treat!
As I’m writing this, V and I are enjoying a short vacation in Hong Kong. Expect the posts soon!
