“Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world.” – Gustave Flaubert.

On our way to the Valley of the Giants, about 10 km south of Manjimup, V and I made a stop at the Diamond Tree Lookout. The Diamond Tree is a giant Karri tree, about 51 metres tall with a wooden platform built on top of it, and it goes without saying that if you climb to the top, you’ll be rewarded with a spectacular view of the forest.
