For a while, except for the frequent rains, Perth seemed to have forgotten to transition to spring and would jump straight from winter to summer, so when Arnold and I heard about the Araluen Botanic Park and its magical tulip season, we couldn’t wait to jump into the car and drive there. Located just 35 km southeast of Perth, the beautiful garden is home to many species of Australian and international flora. What better time to visit than spring, when the millions of bulbs scattered throughout the garden come alive in glorious colours?
